Genome-wide analysis of long noncoding RNA expression profile in nasal mucosa with allergic rhinitis

Abstract Background Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are involved in a variety of human immune diseases. However, the expression profile and precise function lncRNAs allergic rhinitis (AR) remain unknown. In present study, genome-wide analysis lncRNA was performed nasal mucosa tissue mRNA regulatory relationship examined among patients with or without AR. Methods Microarray assays were differential expressions verified through RT-PCR. The functions annotated using Gene Ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG). potential relationships between co-expressed mRNAs analyzed Cytoscape software. specific an vitro cell model. Results A total 57 127 dysregulated AR, compared to those AR (fold change > 2.0 P < 0.05). GO pathway indicated that lncRNA–co-expressed enriched several biological processes cellular signaling pathways related such as positive regulation integrin biosynthetic process, adhesion, leukocyte transendothelial migration. Some regulated genes cis- and/or trans-regulatory manner. Furthermore, allergen exposure significantly increased lnc-CXCL12-4, CXCL12, CXCR4 BEAS-2B cells untreated ( 0.01). Conclusion results study suggest participate Leukocyte transepithelial migration may be target for regulate inflammation CXCL12/CXCR4 axis plays important role inflammatory process
